Founded in 2017, Shakespeare House Press is an imprint of Seventh Generation Advisors, a non-profit educational organization based in Santa Monica, California.

Many of the values, language, and customs of 21st century culture, especially in English speaking nations, can be traced to 16th and 17th century England. No writer brought that period more vividly to life than William Shakespeare.

We are dedicated to bringing the world of William Shakespeare and his contemporaries to modern readers everywhere. There is new research and writing about those topics and valuable older or out-of-print materials that can shed new light on a fascinating historical period in human history, but which can also enlighten and entertain the modern world.

We publish, re-issue, or simply promote books and supplementary materials that describe his work and the life, society, and culture of Elizabethan England.

Shakespeare House Press invites authors and scholars to submit their work for consideration.
